Czech Republic’s heavyweight Viktor Pesta (9-1) is no stranger to Sweden’s Allstars Training Center. The UFC fighter has been a regular training partner of Alexander Gustafsson dropped his Octagon debut against Ruslan Magomedov in May, when he first came to train in the Nordic country.
“I will stay during Christmas time” says Pesta, who will only focus on training for his return to the cage against Konstantin Erokhin at the Tele2 Arena in front of 30,000 fans on January 24th. “I will win this time” says Pesta that expects a tough fight. “I only taught him one thing in all the time I’ve known him” jokes the fighter about his sessions with the headliner Gustafsson. “He can give me a lot of advice” says Pesta, that has ruled out “warrior” as a nickname.
