Assan Njie Has Found Success at Welterweight

Overall Njie has a wide skill set but nowdays grappling is his main strength. The Swede’s best weapon is his slick guillotine choke that he has used with high success rate. Njie has background in Muay Thai and he has also fought few boxing matches so his striking is definitely on a solid level too. In his last bout in May of 2012 he squeezed a decision win out of tough Dane Morten Djursaa. Njie holds #3 position in the Nordic welterweight rankings behind UFC stars Martin Kampmann and Gunnar Nelson.
