Timo-Juhani Hirvikangas (10-2) will do something that he hasn’t done since November 2014, and that is have a professional MMA bout. The FinnFighters Gym fighter will fight an undefeated Khalid Taha (9-0) out of Germany on November 19th at GMC 9.
The 32-year old Hirvikangas has been improving his standup game, taking boxing bouts and most recently won a K1 bout over John Tedeschi at the Fight Promotion Showdown Goes Ruissalo show in August.
With a 10 win and 2 loss record, the bantamweight has won five straight bouts with five straight finishes. “Tipi” last competed at CAGE 27 back in November of 2014.
Taha is only 23 years old and has stopped 8 of his 9 opponents. The Combat Club Colgne fighter will have his hands full when he faces the Finnish vet.
This will be bantamweight title fight.
