Press Release
We can now reveal that yet another FIGHT between Thomas Moon Lee Hytten and Sergej Gercicho has been confirmed for the VISION FIGHT NIGHT in Sweden/Karlstad on the 5th of May and it will be a Featherweight Title contender bout. The winner of this fight will get a chance to fight the current title holder, Martin Svensson, later this year.
Thomas Moon Lee had his comeback in 2011 when he fought former UFC fighter Per Eklund. The fight didn’t even get through the first minute before Moon Lee threw a devastating punch which landed on Eklunds chin getting the KO win. Later in the same year Moon Lee suffered a loss against the young and talented James Saville in a 3 round striking war which was considered the best Scandinavian fight that month by many analysts. Sergej Gercicho on the other hand has had a 3 fight win streak over fighters such as highly regarded bjj blackbelt Marcos Nardini and less then 10 days ago winning against Oliver Pastor in Scotland. He is currently ranked 4th in the European rankings just below the VISION title holder Martin Svensson who is ranked 3rd.
The Tickets for the Swedish show will be released next Tuesday at www.ticknet.se
