Finn Teemu Packalen is again back in the news with moves outside of the cage to take his career to the next level. Just last week one of Finland’s top prospect announced that the FinnFighters gym fighter was signed to a four match deal, starting with a Fight Night Finland (FNF) 10 bout in Turku. Now he has signed with ManoManagement, that represents fighters such as Alexander Gustafsson, Ilir Latifi, and Makwan Amirkhani.
“Packalén will be helping UFC and our other Finnish star Makwan Amirkhani to increase the awareness of MMA in Finland and hopefully make it easier for UFC bring their show to Helsinki.” says Mano Management when announcing the new signing.
“It’s not a fantasy the UFC should be realistic in the near future.” said the 28 year old lightweight that does has does have an out clause in his latest Fight Night Finland contract.
Packalen has an unblemished record in both his two fight amateur and seven fight pro career. He turned pro in October of 2012 and is a BJJ brownbelt.
The Swedish based manager has been successful in getting fighters into the UFC, and re-signed such as Reza Madadi, and securing unique sponsorships for its fighters with such brands as Unibet and Gymrossisten.
