Swede Max Nunes looks to improve on his 10 win and 0 loss record with a title shot on September 14 in the UK. BAMMA has announced that the Swedish-born fighter, now living in London, will face Jason Jones for the BAMMA Light Heavyweight Title at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham for it’s 13th event.
Nunes has been one of the hottest prospects on the scene, and has stopped all of his opponents via TKO or submission, including the last three at BAMMA. His most recent win was over Marcin Lazarz in March, where he ended the fight via TKO in the 3rd round –his first time a bout has gone this far.
“Power” has been recently training at Allstars Training Center with UFC title contender Alexander Gustafsson. Nunes home gym is New Wave Academy in the UK.
Jason Jones is a fighter from Golden Glory in the Netherlands and holds a 19 win and 10 loss record. He has won his last four out of five matches, and most recently lost by KO at Final Fight Championship 4 this last May to Maceij Browarski.
