Finn Glenn Sparv was set to headline Full Metal Dojo 2 in Phuket Saturday night, but the weigh-ins were as close as he got to his French opponent Jason Ponet. “We had to cancel the fight because of my sickness” says Sparv to MMAViking.com as he continues to recover from a serious condition.
“Last days just been pure hell, explosive diarrhea, puking, fever, in and out from hospital and so on.” says the current Cage champion.
The Team Hobbit MMA / Team Quest Thailand fighter was looking to improve to improve on his 9 win and 3 loss record, which includes his last win at at Full Metal Dojo in June.
“I still had my hopes up when i went to bed friday night, thinking it would be better tomorrow, but it just got worse.”
Teammate Dylan Fussell stepped up with 10 hours notice to fill in for Teddy Bear in main event, but loss by TKO with a cut.
Sparv is focused on recovering from this incident and looks to return to the cage as soon as he can.
