MMA Nytt is reporting that Reza Madadi has a new opponent for his UFC debut in Frabicio Camoes. This comes shortly after Rafaello Oliveira announced via Twitter last Thursday that he will not compete Jan. 20 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee against the Swede.
The much anticipated debut of Madadi will come on the card headlined by fellow lightweights in Jim Miller and Melvin Guillard. The UFC on FX 1 will kick off the new relationship on one of the six expected events to be broadcast on the Fox-owned cable station in 2012.
Camoes (13-6-1 overall, and 0-1-1 in the UFC) will take the bout on just over 3 weeks notice, and the 33 year old is coming off of two wins, including the most recent victory over TUF winner Efrain Esudero in May. Madadi has been on the sidelines since last April, where he was victorious over Rich Clementi at Superior Challenge 7. Learn more about Reza Madadi in MMA Viking’s exclusive interview.
