The Zone FC just landed Sirwan Kakai on their upcoming card on May 6th. He will fight for the Bantamweight Title fight for the “Demolition” card. No opponent has been announced. Read the press release below.

Kakai Looks to Keep His Winning Streak Going with a Title at The Zone FC

Sirwan Kakai, 22 years old, from GBG MMA is ranked third in Europe according to German website Groundandpound in Bantamweight. He holds a fight record of 6-1-0 and he is on a six fight winning streak.

Last time he fought at The Zone FC was in February 2011, he won an impressive win against the fellow countryman Thomas Bäck from Ren Yi Fight Camp. They went the distance and Kakai won by unanimous decision.

In his last fight he won against Dinky Ninjas James Doolan (16-7-2) by submission in the second round, which further established the 22-year old as one of the best fighters in Europe at that weight.

He has improved his skills and trained with American Top Team. But his base is in Gothenburg and he will fight for the Bantamweight title in front of his home crowd in Lisebergshallen Sunday the 6th of May.
