Finn Patrik Pietilä (9-6) will face the “Brazilian Swede” David Bielkheden (26-12) at Cirkus in Stockholm on May 11 at Superior Challenge 19. “I’m so hyped for this one, he is nordic mma pioneer/ufc vet so this fight for me is huge opportunity! we have great game plan going in to the fight and i am really confident about winning this one!” says the Finn to MMA Viking about the unlikely matchup.
The Allstars Training Center fighter is 39 years old and the title holder of the Superior Challenge welterweight belt, but that will not be on the line in this late-replacement matchup versus Patrik that usually fights at lightweight. Silmar Nunes from Brazil was the original opponent with a 37-15-1 record, but will not be in action in Stockholm.
“David is so experienced fighter that i dont even think about anything else than a great fight for the people!”
David has won an impressive 9 fights in a row, while Patrik has lost his last 3 of 5 bouts. This will be on the main card. “I will do my best and give it all as i always do!”
