As reported on nyheter24.se/blogg/mmabloggen, Per Eklund is out of K-1 ”Rumble of the Kings”. He was scheduled to fight former UFC fighter Robert Emerson November 27 in Stockholm, Sweden.
Kasra Ashhami, promoter for the event, reported to the website that Eklund suffered a concussion in a sparring session in the Pancrase Gym in Stockholm, and would be unable to compete in the event due to Svenska MMA Förbundet (Swedish MMA Federation) regulations. We wish Per a fast recovery, and hope to see him back on a card soon.
