Pannie Kianzad took on American Macy Chiasson in a rematch of the finals of The Ultimate Fighter 28. However, the result was the same as the Swede lost again. This time, it was a first round submission. Read the play-by-play below.
Kianzad gets taken down early in the first, but stays calm and is able to threaten with a submission to got out and back to the feet. Banzai gets a take-down by still scrambling and ends up getting her back taken half way through the round. Pannie back to her feet, but Chiasson is able to take it back to the ground and takes back again. Macy looks for a rear-naked choke, but Kianzad stays cool… seeking to find the hands to loosen the hold. Oh, but Macy sinks it in deeper, and now it is time to tap. Submission victory and the second win against the Swede in as many tries.
