Simeon Thoresen has been added to the UFC on Fox 6 card. The card takes place January 26 in Chicago, Illinois, and the Norwegian fighter will join fellow Nordic fighter in Swede Magnus Cedenblad.

The Grinn, who trains out of Frontline Academy, will take his 17 win and 3 loss record against American David Mitchell. Thoresen has one win, and one loss in the Octagon, and coming off of a one punch KO at the hands of Seth Baczynski this past September at UFC 152 Jones vs Belfort.
Mitchell is out of California’s Nor-cal Fighting Alliance, and has lost both of his UFC bouts by decision. The latest loss was against Paulo Thiago in August of 2011. Before entering the Octagon, he had a perfect record of 11 wins and 0 losses. He now stands with a record of 11 wins and 2 losses.
The UFC on Fox 6 card will be headlined by the title bout between Demetrious Johnson and John Dodson. The Thoresen versus Mitchell fight is expected to be on the undercard of the stacked card.
