Assan Njie made welterweight for the first time today. Fighting out of Sweden, the long-time middleweight fighter made some waves by a late withdrawal from a scheduled bout at Cage 18 due to an injury, but he has jumped on the opportunity to co-headline just two weeks later. The event takes place at Dubai World Trade Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and will stream on MMAjunkie.com 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT.  Njie (170) will face Steven Ray (170.7), who were both on weight.
