Nordic Fighting Championship is seeking to become a player among MMA promotions in Europe. This May, the Finnish based promotion plans its debut in Helsinki on May 28th, it told content partner Fightsport.fi.
While no fighters are signed or matchups made for their first event, the promotion has been working to build the foundation of the “Amazing Experience of MMA” since coming together late last year.
The head of the organization Pezhman Ahmadi is new to the MMA game, but with ambition and foreign investors he has hopes to bring the best fighters in Northern Europe to the promtion and compete with the UFC’s MMA market.
Three events are planned for Finland this year.
