Bea Malecki (0-0) will make her MMA debut this Saturday at IRFA 12 in Stockholm. The world champion and European champion muay thai will be in an amateur bout versus Estonia’s Helin Paara (1-3). “If I win Saturday, I will turn pro” says the Swede that trains out of Allstars Training Center.
The striker has been competing in grappling in order to improve her ground game. The 70 KG fighter has been seeking a match for over a year, and finds herself against the SBG Estonia fighter with four amateur and four pro bouts on her official record.
“I constantly want new challenges and MMA suits me very well right now.”
Most recently, Paara won gold at the the 2016 IMMAF European Open Championship. But, the Estonian has fought bouts classified as pro against Swede Pannie Kainzad and Finn Eeva Siiskonen back in 2012.
The bout will be one of the featured bouts on the all amateur IRFA card at the cozy Berns venue.
