Finn Mikael Silander (12-3) will take his four fight winning streak to Moscow for a bout this Friday at ACB 16. “Hulk” will be facing Russian Yunus Evloev (13-7). “Yunus is very experienced fighter who has very good wrestling and a good stand up.” says Silander to mmaViking.com about his opponent.
The 29 year old flyweight has been seeking a fight since he last stepped out of the cage in August of last year, where he submitted Dimitar Kostov in the second round. It was the Finn’s third win in a perfect 2014, where he fought all his bouts on home soil. “I don’t mind where my fights are as long I get good fights. They have been interested in Finnish fighters and they offered me good deal.” comments the Espoon Kehahait fighter.
“I’m gonna push pressure on him and be in top position. Maybe that way there will be a chance to get a sub or tko.”
Evloev will be looking to get back on track after dropping his last bout in September 2014. The 30 year old veteran out of Rusfighters Sport Club has two of his seven losses to Finnish UFC veterans Tom Niinimaki (2010) and Anton Kuivanen (2009).
