Malin Hermansson (1-0) called out Cornelia Holm (1-0) and now the two will do battle for the #1 Nordic flyweight spot at on April 28th at Gothenburg’s Lisebergshallen. The promotion announced the Cage Warriors 93 matchup today.
After beating IMMAF world champion Gabriella Ringblom at Superior Challenge 16, the confident striker out of Örebro focused on “derailing another hype train” in Holm in her second pro bout. “Connie Future” captured two IMMAF European Open Titles and one IMMAF World Championship at bantamweight.
“Who the F*ck is that girl??” says Holm when asked about a potential showdown with Hermansson. “She knew exactly who I was when I dismantled her national teammate in front of her at Superior Challenge.” responded Malin.
“Holm knows that her boring lay and pray style won’t work with me.”
Holm won her pro debut win against Diana Filipa at Cage Warriors 87 in October.
