Katja Kankaanpää will return to Invicta in a big way as the Finnish straweight will co-headline the upcoming card on September 6. Killer Bunny will face-off against American Stephanie Eggink (4-1) for the vacant 115 pounds title.
Invicta President Shannon Knapp announced the plans today for the company’s return to action, which can now be seen on the UFC’s Fight Pass. This will be the first event for the all female promotion this year.
Kankaanpää proved that she belongs with the elite again at Fight Night 10 in May as she submitted Alyona Rassohyna cranking up her record to an impressive 9 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw.

Stephanie “Snowflake” Eggink’s only loss was in March of 2012, where she was KO’d by Kaline Medeiros. She is on a three fight winning streak, and this will be here debut in Invicta.
