Finnish professional MMA fighters Vuokko Katainen (GB Gym, pro MMA 3-3), Markus “Master Colombo” Rytöhonka (GB Gym / Primus Fight Team, pro MMA 4-2) and Ville Heikkonen (Sports Academy No1, pro MMA 3-2) are scheduled to participate in grappling fights at Art of Fight 4 on May 5th in Oulu, Finland.
The event will be hosted by Oulun Kamppailuklubi and in addition to submission wrestling, the fight card will also feature muay thai and amateur MMA fights. All fights are to be fought in a full sized cage.
Experienced Katainen will be facing fellow MMA practitioner Varpu Rinne (IMMAF european champion 2015, purple belt NOGI european champion 2018) of FinnFighter’s Gym.
After sidelined by injuries, Rytöhonka made an successful return back to pro MMA at 2017 while defeating both Ville Kyllönen and Jani Hägg. At Art Of Fight Rytöhonka is destined to lock horns with Life-long grappler Orash Schmid (ADCC Finnish champion 2016) of 10th planet Tampere.
Last but definitely not least BJJ brown belt Heikkonen. who is known for his leg locks and relentless style of fighting, will be facing a bit bigger opponent Riku Leinonen of BJJ Vaasa in an exciting matchup.
