Jussi Halonen (6-3) will go after his fourth consecutive victory at Helsinki Culture House on February 13th at CAGE 34.
The Hardknocks Helsinki fighter known as βRude Jussiβ stopped both of his opponent with the CAGE promotion in 2015, stopping both of his opponents. In the Finn’s last bout at CAGE 32, he faced Julien Piednoir who defeated Halonenβs training partner Mikko Ahmala at Cage 29. Halonen seemed a man possessed as he stormed Piednoir quickly on the first round. Eventually, Halonen countered Piednoirs takedown ub the second round and locked in a slick japanese necktie to force a tap.
“There haven’t been any injuries and I hope to stay healthy until the fight in February. Iβve also got a new strength and condition coach and weβve been putting in the hours.” says the welterweight.
Halonen made his pro debut in 2011 and has since earned a record of six wins and 3 losses.
“Iβve got a 3-fight contract with CAGE and Iβm aiming at winning all of them and weβll see what happens after that.” says Halonen, that doesn’t have an opponent yet for next month’s event. No other matchups have been announced.
