Jonathan Svensson was all set to join Californiaäs Alpha Male late last year before he injured his knee. Now, the Swedish fighter says “My knee is 100%” to MMAViking.com in a recent interview, and he is already training for a bout next month.
The Swede with a 4 win and 1 loss record is from Stockholm’s Pancrase Gym, has been signed to one of the hottest MMA camps in the world. “I have already been there twice. I like it a lot there, great place to be at.” Alpha Male founder Urijah Faber said at the signing that “Jon is a young guy with a lot of potential.”
“Right now, I’m just focused on my fight this May.” says Svensson, who mentions he is still in search of nickname. The Swede will next take on Bruno Murata from Checkmat from Brazil, who is undefeated with 2 wins and 0 losses.
