The long awaited matchup between Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson could be announced shortly as now both fighters are teasing with Twitter posts.

After Gustafsson requested a date to fight Jones through Twitter earlier in the week, Jones then revealed he would be looking to October for a bout, and today Jones revealed by Twitter that an announcement will be “coming soon”.

With both the American and the Swede expressing interest in facing each other, the revealing is expected to see the two face-off later in the year. It would be the first time any Nordic fighter would fight for a UFC strap.
