Joachim Tollefsen (2-1) has booked a fight against 2X world champion Thaiboxing champion Ally Smith (1-0). The fight will go down at Headhunter’s FC in Edinburgh on the 12th of March.
Tollefsen, with the help of strength coach Yngve Apneseth at Optimal Trening, will step up in weight to take this bout at 75 kilos / 165 lbs. The Frontline Academy fighter first made his name with his medal at the 2014 IMMAF World Championships. Since turning pro, he has earned two wins and then a loss in his latest outing at IRFA 9 in a unanimous decision to Guram Kutateladze.
It will be a tough matchup for the traveling fighter that will take on Smith on his home soil in Scotland. Smith will return to MMA after getting a submission victory back in 2011 at SFC 5.
Tollefsen is one quarter Scottish, so may have a little support for the visiting fighter.
