Jani Ridasmaa (8-4-1) will face veteran Niko Puhakka (29-18) at NFC 2 going down at NFC Fight Night 2 at the Gatorade Center on May 27th. This Finn versus Finn bout was originally scheduled to happen at Carelia Fight 12, but will now go down in Turku.
Ridasmaa is out of Team East Front and was last in action at Lappeenranta Fight Night 15 where he outpointed Kennet Mattsson. The welterweight has won his last 3 of 4 bouts, with his only loss in that stretch to the crafty veteran Sergej Grecicho.
Puhakka is no stranger to NFC, as he won a split decision on the NFC “Helsinki Fight Night” card last May, his only win in his last 6 attempts.
