Swede Jack Hermansson (14-2) will be taking on an experienced UFC veteran as he heads to Brazil for his second UFC bout. The “Joker” will face Brazilian Cezar Ferreira (10-5) on the UFN 100 card in São Paulo going down on November 19. Nettavisen first announced the matchup.
The Norway based fighter is coming off an Octagon debut win over Scott Askham at the UFC in Hamburg. The wrestler outstruck the UK fighter over 15 minutes. It was an impressive outing for the Frontline Academy fighter that put pressure on his lanky opponent throughout the fight.
“I am ready to fight again” said Hermansson in his post fight interview and he just got his wish. It was the 9th straight win for the Swede who hasn’t lost since 2013. He improves his record to 15 wins and 2 losses.
Ferreira is a much hyped middleweight and started off with three straight wins in the Octagon before suffering two losses. Again, he is on a winning streak of two fights including his most recent win over Anthony Smith at the TUF 23 Finale in July.
Vikings Christian Colombo and Alexander Gustafsson are also on the card.
