Finn Henri Lintula and Dane Louis Glismann (6-1) will headline the BRAVE 37 card in Stockholm, Sweden on August 1. It is the first time the Bahrain-based promotion in association with Sweden’s Bulldog Fight Night (BFM) will host an even in the Nordics.
Glisman was added to the BRAVE Combat Federation roster last year and expected to take on UFC vet Andreas Ståhl, but the April card did not happen due to the corona virus outbreak. The 29-year-old welterweight “Spartacus” says “Finally back in business! Excited to make my Brave debut 1.” on social media after the fight announcement.
Glisman is a grappler out of Arte Suave Copenhagen with an 85% finish-ratio in his career, four of those coming by way of submission. His last win was an impressive first round win over Graig White in Cage Warriors.
Lintula submitted Vladimir Osipov (9-7) at Cage 49 in the first round in his last outing, and has now finished all 5 of his opponents. The Finn out of Sisu Gym is also 29 years old. He is no stranger to Sweden, as he beat Robin Roos at Fight Club Rush 5 last August.
With government restrictions of large groups gathering, it is expected that the events would be go on without fans.
