Swede Håkon Foss (6-3), fighting out of Frontline Academy in Norway, was planning on heading to Germany for Imperium FC 5 on August 28th to take on local Konrad Dyrschka (4-1). “He has withdrawn from the fight due to injury.” says Death to MMAViking.com today.
“No they say it was very difficult to get opponent” continues the welterweight, that is now looking for a new fight. Foss has recently has been a traveling man, taking fights in Denmark, Sweden, and Finland in the last year.
The Frontline fighter was looking for his third straight win and has been victorious in four out of five bouts. “Why doesn’t anyone want to fight me” says the fighter that hasn’t seen too many opportunities for more fights in Sweden in a packed calendar.
Foss was last in action at ICE FC 15 in May, where he stopped Graham Armstrong in the second round. Before that, he shocked the local crowd by stopping powerhouse Jussi Halonen at CAGE 34.
UPDATE : The Imperium FC 5 promotion found an opponent in Jonny Kruschinske. The german has a record of 14 wins and 15 losses and is out of MMA Taam Dresden. So, Foss will remain on the card!
