The Cage Warriors 66 card took a turn for the better with a late addition of a top UFC veteran. Denmark based Damir Hadzovic was set to face Tommy Maguire, but an injury has sidelined the UK fighter. UFC veteran John Maguire however is ready to step up on late notice for his brother for the opportunity on the March 22nd card. The promotion made the announcement today.
The Rumble Sports sports fighter known as the “Bosnian Bomber” (7-2) has taken all but one of his victories inside the distance, with his two losses coming at the hands of current undefeated UFC pair Krzysztof Jotko and Andreas Stahl.
Maguire (19-7), a five-fight UFC veteran, was edged out by Saul Rogers via unanimous decision in the main event at CWFC 65 in Dublin on March 1. He now looks to return for his second bout in March. “I’m a fighter and, as a fighter, I’m always ready to step in, accept a challenge and compete.”

MMAViking.com contributor Poul Roest of In-Fight recently talked to Hadzovic about his debut, his Rumble teammates, and how he will be coming for the lightweight title.
