European MMA 6 has added another high-level Nordic matchup by pairing veteran Danish fighter Mikkel Guldbaek against up-and-comer Swede Nico Musoke. The card called “The Real Deal” will be headlined by Danes Morten Djursaa Versus Nicolas Dalby on September 26 at Brøndbyhallen in Denmark.
Musoke improved his record to 10 wins, 2 losses, 1 draw, and 1 no contest after his victory at Golden Ring in Stockholm earlier in the month. The Swede took on a late replacement Ronny Alexander Landaeta in a three round battle, where Musoke was able to overcome an eye injury . Musoke trains at Allstars Training Center and hasn’t lost since June of 2011.
Mikkel Guldbaek had his first professional MMA bout in 2000, and has amassed a 16 win, 3 loss, and 2 draw record. The 39 year old has won four straight matches, and most recently was victorious over Bohumil Lungrik at European MMA 3 in December.
The bout will be contested at a catchweight of just over the welterweight allowance of 79 kg or 174 pounds.
