Ringside Gym‘s Otso Kataja will start his pro career with a bang as he will fight for Total Combat’s lightweight belt this Saturday in Sunderland, England. Former welterweight Kataja is dropping down to lightweight for the first time. He is matched up with England’s own Tim Close (5-2). Close comes to the fight riding a four fight win streak with two submission and two TKO finishes. The aggressive Englishman has finished all of his last four fights in under two minutes. The young Finn bring powerful takedowns and good top control to the table. Come fight time Kataja, who took silver medal at the Finnish MMA championship this spring, should also hold a size advantage over his opponent.
