Experienced lightweight Niko Puhakka (27-12) is set to fight at Celtic Gladiator’s “Day of War VI” on February 9th in Dublin, Ireland. In the main event of the night the Finn will face England’s Wesley “The Immortal” Murch (12-6).
Puhakka’s latest win streak came to end in October at the Fight Festival 32 where the Finn, who won the first two rounds, was submitted by UFC vet Yoshiyuki Yoshida in the third round. Puhakka however bounced right back from the disappointing loss by throughly outgrappling Maxim Shtepenko at the Russian Draka show in late November.
Englishman Murch fought twice in 2012 and won bouts with submission. Murch is 3-0 is his last three. His latest loss is from Novermber 2011 when he was submitted by highly regarded Tim Radcliffe.
