Finland’s Fight Festival promotion has decided to postponed it’s upcoming event. Event labeled “32” was supposed go down in March of 2012 but due to various reasons the promoter made the decision to move the event to September-November.
Promoter Petteri Maunu commented on the situation to MMAViking:
“The decision was based on many reasons. Most of our guys are fighting somewhere else or wouldn’t be able to fight in March. One reason was that we don’t currently have a TV deal that would make sense financially. I also want spent more time with my family and couldn’t find anyone to take over my duties for this spring”
Fight Festival is widely regarded as one of the top promotions in Europe. The promotion has been putting up combat sports event since 1998. Fight Festival can be considered as a home promotion for such well known fighters as Marcus Vänttinen, Lucio Linhares, Niko Puhakka, J-P Vainikainen and Joni Salovaara.
