Fernando Flores (5-3) lost to undefeated Bakhtiyar Abdulaev (6-0) at GMC 14 in Castrop-Rauxel, Germany Saturday night. “Hard fight” says El Toro to MMA Viking after the bout.
Flores fought up a weight class again at featherweight against Abduloev.
“He was the better man! He did come out like we thought, but he changed his game!”
The unanimous decision loss for the Renyi fighter snapped a two fight winning streak, but the Umeå fighter has still won 5 out of 7 bouts.
“He was just better then me!! But i showed heart! But some times it doesn’t work !! Thank you for all” comments Flores.
Abdulaev is from Tajikistan, but has been fighting exclusively in Germany in his last three bouts. He has stopped all of his opponents so far, including a solid win over Julien Graco who came into the bout with 9 wins and 2 losses.
