Nabbe Malki from Stockholm, Sweden is getting ready for his upcoming match at FCR 23 on March 29th in Västerås.

Despite the intense preparation for the match, Nabbe mentions that his training remains the same as before but with some adjustments in his technique.

“The training has basically gone the same way as always, with some corrections in my game” says Malki

Nabbe’s opponent, Daniel Sinitiari, made his professional debut at Wolf Fight Promotion 12 in December 2024. Nabbe knows Sinitiari as a versatile and physiologically tough fighter. Despite Sinitiari defeating Nabbes’s close friend and training partner, Erik Wahrolen, in his debut at Wolf Fight Promotion back in December 2024, Malki is not significantly affected by this.

“I don’t know much about him, other than that he is supposed to be an all-round fighter and generally tough physiologically.” explains Nabbe. Instead, he focuses on his own task and sees Sinitiari as just another opponent on the road to success.

Nabbe has previously had a tough injury history that has hindered some matches, but he now feels stronger than ever ahead of the upcoming match. With his health at its peak, he looks forward to returning to the cage and doing what he loves most.

“Unfortunately, I have had some bad luck with my health over the past year, which has put some obstacles in my career. However, I am now fully recovered and feel incredibly strong again, so I am very much looking forward to getting back in there and doing what I love and do best.”

FCR has played a significant role in Nabbe’s career and has given him opportunities to develop both in the sport and on a personal level. He made his professinal debut back in August 2022 at FCR 13 in Stockholm. He got the TKO win in the first round in a grudge match against Taylan Isik. It would take him just over one year to get his second FCR win when he kncoked out Maycon James at FCR 17 in the first round. The upcoming match will be Nabbe’s fourth in the FCR cage and his first since September 9 2023. Despite a hot weight class and previous plans to face Zelim Zubairaev, Nabbe’s full focus is on the upcoming match.

“I think FCR has given me incredible opportunities to develop both in the cage and outside in my personal development,” says Nabbe. What happens afterward remains to be seen.

As a big fan favorite in Swedish MMA, Nabbe has a special relationship with his fans. Ahead of the match on March 29th, he has a special message for the audience.

“I believe that we have made this journey together and will continue to do so until I achieve my goal within Swedish MMA, for the sport to grow and become as big as it can be.” says Nabbe. The fans can expect a hard-hitting Nabbe who has longed for this for over a year, and an unforgettable night for the people attending.
