Oliver “The Future” Enkamp (9-2) submitted Emmanuel Dawa (9-3) in the first round at Bellator 248 in a historical event in Paris, France.
The bell rang and Dawa immediately took control. Dawa threw a couple powerful legkicks, and Enkamp answered with a powerful highkick. Dawa then took Enkamp down and started to throw punches from above. After several seconds, Dawa got on top, scrambled and went for the guillotine which turned unsuccessful. The Swede utilizes his ground and pound. Enkamp then went for the takedown himself and ended up on top once again, starting to work from the top. After half a round, Enkamp was still on top of Dawa in half-mount, throwing punches from the top. The Swede then managed to get into full mount, before securing a Japanese necktie. Dawa taps! Submission win for Enkamp in the first round, at 4:10 mark to make it 2 wins for Nordic fighters at Bellator 248, after Mads Burnell won his fight in the opening bout.
