Emil Weber Meek (8-2, 1 NC) has signed with the UFC. The Norwegian coming off a huge win over Rousimar Palhares (18-7) put himself on the global MMA radar, and it has paid off with several organizations competing for the welterweight’s services. Valhalla has signed with the biggest, and will step foot in the Octagon against Jessin Ayari at UFC Hamburg on Saturday, September 3.
Meek is out of MMA Trondheim, and now trains at Frontline Academy. The 27 year old based in Oslo is on a three fight winning streak and brings with him an 8 win, 2 loss and 1 no contest record.

Ayari is a German fighter out of Hammers Team / Planet Eater. He is on a six fight winning streak, most recently beating Mickael Lebout at GMC 8.
Meek was MMAViking.com’s 2013 Nordic Prospect of the year. It will be both fighters UFC Debut when the step into the cage at the O2 World Hamburg.
