Norwegian Emil Weber Meek (9-2, 1 NC) wanted on the UFC in Sweden card, and he got his wish today. The UFC has announced that Valhalla will fight Nordine Taleb (12-4) in Stockholm on May 28th.
Meek impressive UFC debut win in December over Jordan Mein, where he won by unanimous decision back at UFC 206. Prior to this bout, the Frontline Academy fighter KO’d Rousimar Palhares at Venator FC 3 in only 45 seconds.
Taleb trains out of Tristar gym in Canada. The 35 year old has a 4 win and 2 loss record in the Octagon and started off with three straight wins in the UFC. Most recently he lost by unanimous decision to Santiago Ponzinibbio in February.
