Sweden’s Daniel Teymur (6-1-0) will face Julio Arce (14-2-0) at UFC Utica. The bout will go down on the Fight Night card at the Adirondack Bank Center in New York on Friday, June 1.
This will be the Allstars Training Center fighters second bout in the Octagon. He went the distance with Scotland’s Daniel Henry at UFC Fight Night 113 in Glasgow last July in his UFC debut. They threw down for through 3 tough rounds, and in the end the unbeaten Swede saw his first loss via decision. The two hardworking fighters were however later awarded Fight of the Night (FOTN), and each took home a nice bonus $50k.
Arce will fight in his backyard as the New York born fighter now trains at Tiger Schulmann’s Mixed Martial Arts in New Jersey. He is out of Dana White’s Contender series where he won back in August. He already has a win at UFC 220 with a three round decision over Dan Ige in January.
