Nordic’s top bantamweight Sirwan Kakai is back in training after some time off to recover from nose surgery. Although the Gothenburg fighter hasn’t yet signed on for a next fight, he has received a new nickname.

The name popped-up on Sherdog’s FightFinder last month, and seems that fellow training partner Brad Pickett is responsible. Kakai tells MMA Viking “Brad from some strange reason called me Zohan, becuse alot of people had problems saying my real name Sirwan”. So it seems that everyone at American Top Team in Florida calls Sirwan as Zohan, as he says “Brad just called my Zohan, and ATT knows me as Zohan.”
