“The AC (assessment commitee) has found no obvious errors in the match between Mr. Bruno Carvalho and Mr. Marius Zaromskis and therefore the original result shall stand.” is the final conclusion from SMMAF’s report sent out this morning from SMMAF president George Sallfeldt.
Carvalho and his management team protested the bout, which ended in a stoppage at 4:59 in Round 1 due to a complaint about Vaseline used by his opponent and also that the bout should not have been stopped. In response to the protest, which SMMAF officially responded states that “The SMMAF Assessment Committee has found that the original decision in the match between Marius Zaromskis and Bruno Carvalho shall stand.”
