J-P Vainikainen is one of the most experienced fighters in whole of the Nordic region and he faced another experienced fighter in Domingos Mestre at Cage 32. Vainikainen returned after about a year spent away from the cage in a new weight class, but unfortunately missed weight for the bout. The bout looked to be going to the judges decision, but Mestre locked in a guillotine on the third round and secured the victory for himself.
