Nick Barnø (5-2) has a tough schedule to start off 2018 as the Arte Suave fighter has booked two bouts less than a month apart.
The heavyweight started out 2017 with two wins, but will look to rebound from a loss against Rokas Stambrauskas (10-6) at MMA Galla Upcomings in his last outing.
“3 fights in 4 month was tough” says the heavyweight to MMAViking.com after his last bout. “I’m looking forward to get back in the cage and show that I continue on getting better and get back on a winning streak.”
The “True Dane” is first set to face Jakub Dittrich (3-0) out of the Czech Republic on January 13 at MMA GALLA 4. Dittrich has a boxing background and remains undefeated in his pro MMA career.
The Dane will next challenge for the title against Callum Cook (8-3) on February 10th at Golden Ticket FP 8 in Wolverhampton, England. The UK fighter has won three straight bouts and is the defending heavyweight Golden Ticket championship for the first time. He beat Darren Moore in the first round in September at GTFP 6.
All five of Barno’s wins have come by stoppage and he expects to add two more to the list to start off 2018.
