The Zone FC officials have announced that Johan Jorup, 27, from Linköping Kampsportscenter will fight Magnus Strandner from GBG MMA in a light heavy weight bout. The event will take place on May 6th in Gothenburg.
The well rounded Jorup is a fireman and is 4-time Swedish champion in Sport Ju-jutsu, he also holds an European Championship silver in Sport Ju-jutsu. He holds a record of 2-0 in pro MMA. He is a purple belt in BJJ and he has won Scandinaian Open in BJJ. In submission wrestling he has won at ESWT.
Strandner has 2-2-0 in pro MMA and both wins came in light heavy weight. It will be an exciting bout between two fighters and it could end in the standup as well as on the ground. The fight will probably not go the distance. Both fighters has ended their fights in the first round.
