There have been a lot of injuries lately, and yet another Nordic fighter is forced to withdraw from his scheduled fight. Sweden’s Andreas Ståhl is not going to fight Alex Garcia in Brisbane at UFC Fight Night 33. Ståhl himself was disappointed but focused on the next challenge when MMAViking.com talked to him:
It really sucks getting injured this close to a fight. But I’ll be back and then I’ll show you Northern steel!
Instead Ben Wall will jump in and fight Alex Garcia on a two week notice. Ben is a member of TUF: The Smashes and this will be his debut for the UFC.
The welterweight and 25 years old Andreas “Real Steel” fights out of Renyi Fight Camp and Allstars Training Center, and have won all of his 9 fights. He last fought at Denmarks premier organisation European MMA, where he fought and finished Veselin Dimitrov in the first round, earning himself a UFC contract.
