Andreas Ståhl is finally making his return to the cage on March 23 in Halmstad, Sweden. Today, Heroes Fighting Championship announced they signed a multi fight deal with the Renyi Fight Camp athlete.
“It feels wonderful to finally be back” Sthål tells MMA Viking. The Swede is undefeated at 7 wins and 0 losses.
Although no opponent will be revealed for a few days, Ståhl will be a star of Heroes who is making the promotion debut. The bout will send the Northern Sweden fighter to Western Sweden for the bout in Halmsted.
The 24 year old fighter took his latest victory in Denmark on CFL 2 – Cage Fight Live against Damir Hadzovic in 2011, but has since been sidelined for over a year without any bouts in 2012 due to injury.
The welterweight was set to return in December at Vision FC in Stockholm, but the bout never came together.
Ståhl was voted MMA Viking’s prospect of the year for his dominant performances in 2011.
