Norwegian Alexander Jacobsen (5-1) is on a roll. The lightweight stopped England’s Tim Close (9-6) in the UK at Made 4 The Cage’s “Meltdown” card Sunday night. “I’m insanely happy, after two hard months of training.” says the Bergen MMA and Bergen Grappling fighter, that also puts in some time at Rumble Sports.
The 28 year old Jacobsen lost his pro debut at Cage Warriors 66 back in 2014, but since then has notched an impressive five wins with five stoppages.
The win over Close was the longest fight in the recent run of wins, going to the second round, while the previous four wins were all in the first frame.
“I hope to fight again pretty soon, I feel sharp and good after my fight. I have one offer in England again for the 24th of June, the same organization Made 4 the Cage.”
The former professional boxer continues to show that he is a threat on the mat, as he has three finishes by submission.
