Former lightweight title contender Alexander Jacobsen (9-3) looks to get back into winning ways against Perry Goodwin (8-5) at Cage Warriors 98. The Norwegian will fight at The Genting Arena in Birmingham on Saturday 20 October. “I am really happy and ready to come back and show a better version if myself” says the lightweight to MMA Viking.
Jacobsen was last in the cage in a bloody mess versus Søren Bak in a title contender for the lightweight strap. The Dane Søren Bak came out on top as he submitted “Bad Romance” via Arm Triangle in the second round at the Cage Warriors 93 event in April.
“I plan on getting the win and then one more this year at Cage Warriors 100 in Wales”
The Bergen MMA and Bergen Grappling fighter lost his shot at the title back at CWFC 88 in 2017 to Chris Fishgold, but rebounded with a 14 second win in February. The power puncher has a record of 9 wins and 3 losses overall.
Goodwin out of England lost to Sweden based Rafael Macedo on the Cage Warriors 93 card. He is on a two fight losing streak after winning 5 straight bouts.
