The Bergen MMA and Bergen Grappling’s Alexander Jacobsen (9-3) looks to get back into winning ways against Perry Goodwin (8-5) at Cage Warriors 98 this Saturday in Birmingham. “I am really happy and ready to come back and show a better version if myself” says the former lightweight title contender to MMA Viking.
“Bad Romance” fighter lost his shot at the title back at CWFC 88 in 2017 to Chris Fishgold, but rebounded with a 14 second win in February. The power puncher has a record of 9 wins and 3 losses overall.
“I plan on getting the win and then one more this year at Cage Warriors 100 in Wales”
The Norwegian was last in the cage in a bloody battle versus Søren Bak in a title contender showdown for the lightweight strap. The Dane Søren Bak came out on top as he submitted Jacobsen via arm triangle in the second round at the Cage Warriors 93 event in April.
Goodwin out of England lost to Sweden based Rafael Macedo on the Cage Warriors 93 card, his last bout. He is on a two fight losing streak after winning 5 straight bouts.
