One of Finland’s brightest prospects (10-4) Aleksi Mäntykivi will fight on the M-1 Challenge 86 card. The Hardknocks Helsinki fighter will face Bashir Gagiev (3-2) in his return after nearly a year away.
Mäntykivi had a five fight win streak from 2014 to 2015, and his most recent outing in October 1, 2016 was a TKO over the Cage Warriors star Soren Bak. The Finn was scheduled for both a EuroFC 2 bout, which didn’t happen after the promotion went under, and a Cage Warriors 82 that didn’t happen when Martin Stapleton pulled out due to injury. After hard hitting lightweight needed surgery himself, he has been on the sidelines himself until now.
M-1 86 goes down in Russia on November 24th. Gagiev is on a three fight winning streak with two in M-1 and another in ACB promotion.
